Information visitors provide
When you request an estimate or contact Gardiner Custom Coatings, you may provide:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Your company or organization, when applicable.
- Your project ZIP code.
- Project type, requested service, desired timeline, and project description.
Information collected automatically
The website records the first and latest qualifying page where a request journey began, the external referring page, and campaign parameters included in a link, such as UTM values and advertising click identifiers. This attribution is stored in first-party browser storage for up to 90 days and included with an estimate request so Gardiner can understand how the inquiry arrived. Internal page navigation does not replace an earlier marketing touch. This operational attribution capture continues to work when optional Analytics and Marketing technologies are declined.
Website hosting systems may process basic technical information needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose the site, such as browser, device, request, and network information. The Paint Special also uses browser session storage to remember when a visitor dismisses the promotion during that session.
Necessary, Analytics, and Marketing technologies
Necessary technologies support core site delivery, security, estimate forms, session-based campaign attribution, and the visitor’s privacy-choice record. They remain active because the requested website features cannot operate consistently without them.
Analytics technologies are optional. When a visitor allows Analytics, Google Analytics receives page paths and selected interaction events used to understand site use and marketing performance.
Google Ads conversion measurement records a conversion only after the website confirms that an estimate request was accepted. The conversion event contains the configured destination, conversion label, value, and currency; it does not contain the visitor’s form fields. The Google tag keeps advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization denied. It does not enable Google Ads remarketing through this website consent system. Because Google Ads can process a limited conversion signal while those consent fields are denied, the signal may be sent whether or not the visitor allows the optional Analytics or Marketing categories.
Marketing technologies are optional. When a visitor allows Marketing—and only when Gardiner has explicitly configured a production Meta Pixel—the Meta Pixel may load and send a PageView for advertising measurement. The current website does not send estimate-form names, email addresses, phone numbers, ZIP codes, or project descriptions to Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta browser events.
Cookies and similar technologies can include cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, and browser identifiers. Optional provider technologies are not treated as accepted merely because a visitor continues browsing.
How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Respond to estimate requests and discuss potential projects.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the website.
- Understand the effectiveness of marketing and referral sources when permitted.
- Prevent spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.
Service providers
Gardiner uses or may use service providers that support website and lead operations. These include Vercel for website hosting; Google Sheets for operational lead records when configured; Resend or another transactional email provider for lead notifications when configured; and Kaptsure for forwarding website inquiries into Gardiner’s lead-handling workflow when configured.
When the visitor permits the applicable optional category, Google Analytics may provide site measurement and Meta may provide browser-based advertising measurement. A future Meta Conversions API connection could send server-side advertising events only after Gardiner separately configures and activates it; no browser-accessible Conversions API credential is used by this website.
Providers process information under their own terms and instructions from Gardiner where applicable. A described future or prepared integration is not necessarily active.
Information sharing
Gardiner does not sell personal information for money. Information may be disclosed to service providers that support website hosting, lead handling, communication, security, analytics, and related operations. Optional advertising measurement may be considered targeted-advertising or sharing activity under some laws even when no money is exchanged. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, Gardiner, or others.
Data retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, operational needs, and applicable legal obligations. No specific retention period has been established for every category of information.
Gardiner and its service providers may use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Privacy choices and requests
You may accept all optional technologies, reject non-essential technologies, or choose Analytics and Marketing separately. Declining optional technologies does not affect estimate forms, phone links, campaign attribution, or other core website features. Use “Privacy Choices” in the footer—or the button below—to review and change the stored choice.
When a recognized Global Privacy Control signal is active, this website defaults Marketing to denied and disables the Marketing choice. This technical behavior is one part of Gardiner’s privacy approach and is not a claim that the website automatically satisfies every state privacy law.
Changing Marketing from allowed to declined stops future optional Meta calls made by this website, asks the loaded Meta library to revoke consent, and removes website-accessible Meta cookies on this domain. Browser code cannot retract events already received by a provider, remove provider cookies that are not accessible to this site, or guarantee deletion from provider systems.
You may ask questions about personal information or request access, correction, or deletion by emailing admin@gardinercoatings.com. Gardiner may need enough information to understand and respond to the request.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for general business and homeowner audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and Gardiner does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through the website.
Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
